the lesser redcapped hutgirl- a study

So!  I finally used the chunky purple wool I bought for my sister and made her a crochet cowl!  It actually will look better on her, since she’s got the long graceful neck thing going :p  But- fortuitous discovery when i was taking it off- it can instantly make you look like a star-trek alien!  Hurrah!

Just to let you know, it’s 15 days until the boy flies over here for the summer- I officially can’t wait, which might mean my blog is the most irritating thing in the WORLD for the next few weeks- there’ll probably be a fair amount of ‘what we’re going to do’ pictures, some sappy quotes and entirely possibly more ridiculously cute pics.  HOWEVER- I solemnly vow to intersperse this with pictures of some of my latest projects (like the sunshine bag charm I made last night!) and occasional non-boy-related updates- just so you don’t want to, you know, murder me!  xxx

Sorry guys, I’m having a ‘missing the boy desperately and wanting him so bad it hurts’ day… If I had the day off no doubt I’d be knitting tiny hearts and making him a package, but I’m not, I’m stuck at work, so reblogs it is :p
