the lesser redcapped hutgirl- a study

It’s been a few days since my last update, so I’ll just do a super-speedy summation of the last week or so :D

We booked the boy’s tickets- less than a month and he’ll be here for the summer- so ridiculously excited I find myself pretty much singing for joy every time I think about it!

Am busy setting up a website to sell bits and pieces and hopefully get some commission orders for pretty things of one form or another… it’s looking good I think!

Went to a assault course composed of various rope-based obstacles suspended 20’ in the air for a friends birthday- as I nearly died last time we did it, I sat in the car and crocheted merrily while they braved hail and very gusty winds- I did join in for the very arduous pub lunch afterwards, however :p

Have unravelled the cat 3 times now- if I don’t get him done on this next attempt I’m giving up and moving onto an octopus :p

Found quite a lot of WIP’s in the junk room when organising and sorting at the weekend- mostly half-done cross-stitches.  One of them was pretty much 95% done, so I finished it off, added some padding and a ribbon, and now have a lovely bookmark- will post pics tomorrow hopefully…

Just finished Monday night supper club (watching Game of Thrones)- on the menu tonight we had delicious bean and sausage casserole cooked by Helen and fresh bread that I managed to do ‘cos I got let off work early- yey!   Then chocolate tart with fresh strawberries and cream- delicious… and something very satisfying about eating nummy desserts while watching your favourite program with best friends!

That’s us up to date I think- normal service should resume as from tomorrow….
